Health guarantees

Health Guarantees

One-Year Genetic Guarantee:
If your puppy is diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic condition, we will offer a replacement or exchange. A nominal $100 replacement fee applies, while exchanges carry no fee. The new puppy must be of similar value to qualify.

15-Day Viral Disease (Parvo and Distemper) Guarantee:
In the case of serious viral infections like parvovirus or distemper, you may return the puppy for credit. If you live more than 8 hours away, you may receive up to 80% of the puppy’s value.

7-Day Exchange Policy:
If your puppy is found to have a life-threatening issue within 7 days, you may exchange them for another puppy of equal or lesser value.

Limitations:
Cosmetic or non-life-threatening conditions are not covered under this health guarantee. You are responsible for standard care such as vaccinations, dewormings, spaying/neutering, and preventive treatments for fleas and heartworm. Minor health concerns or issues not explicitly covered can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. This guarantee does not replace health insurance, and we encourage you to research veterinarians for suitable care options.

Your Responsibilities:

Have your puppy examined by a vet within 7 days of taking them home.
Complete fecal exams for worms, coccidia, and giardia.
Notify us promptly if any positive results are found.
Register the puppy’s microchip (details can be found in vaccine records).
Spay or neuter by seven months, or as advised by your vet.
Address any behavioral issues with professional help and consider obedience training if necessary.

Deposits:
Deposits (up to $400) are non-refundable but may be credited toward another puppy if necessary. They are refundable if the puppy becomes ill before release. Switching puppies after three days will incur a $200 fee.

Sold as Pets Agreement:
When a puppy is sold under the “Sold as Pet” policy, this typically means they are sold without breeding rights or registration papers, such as from the AKC, and are intended solely as family pets.

Key Points:

No Breeding Rights: The buyer agrees not to breed the puppy, and spaying/neutering is required by a specific age as recommended by a vet.
No Registration Papers: Puppies sold under this policy do not come with pedigree papers or breed organization registrations.
Potential Breed Variability: While the puppy may be purebred or predominantly one breed, slight variations or traces of other breeds may be present.
Health Guarantees: Despite the pet-only status, all health guarantees for hereditary conditions remain in effect.

This policy focuses on placing puppies in loving homes as companions, not for breeding or show purposes.

Important Notice: Please Read
For puppies under four months old that are not yet fully vaccinated, please avoid public places such as pet stores, parks, or groomers. Keep your puppy in a carrier during vet appointments, and ensure no one puts their fingers in the puppy’s mouth. By accepting a puppy from us, you agree to all the terms and conditions outlined here.

Single Customer: $1.00 per mile.
Two Customers: $0.85 per mile.
Three or More Customers: $0.75 per mile

When a puppy is "sold as pet" with no registration, it means the puppy is being sold without any official pedigree papers or registration with a kennel club like the AKC (American Kennel Club). This typically means:
