ABCPuppy Health Guarantee

1. 1-Year Genetic Guarantee: Your puppy comes with a one-year guarantee against serious genetic (congenital) problems. If a licensed veterinarian finds one within the first year, you may exchange your puppy for another of equal or lesser value. A $100 non-refundable fee applies for replacement. The health issue must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within one year of purchase.
   
   
2. 14-Day Viral Illness Guarantee: If your puppy is diagnosed with a life-threatening viral illness (such as parvovirus or distemper) within 14 days of going home, you may: exchange the puppy for another of equal or lesser value, or request a refund up to the purchase price if returning the puppy is not possible. If your puppy is hospitalized, you may be reimbursed up to the original purchase price (must provide veterinary invoices).
   
   
3. What This Guarantee Does Not Cover: This is not pet insurance, and it does not cover non-life-threatening or cosmetic issues. We do not cover routine veterinary care such as vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, or parasite prevention. Once reimbursements reach the purchase price, no further payments will be made. Breeding ability is not guaranteed. All puppies are sold as pets only.
   
   
4. Buyer Responsibilities: To keep this guarantee valid, you must take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of purchase. A fecal test for parasites must be completed if your veterinarian recommends it. Contact ABCPuppy immediately if your puppy is diagnosed with a health issue. You must also register the puppy’s microchip and spay or neuter your puppy by 6 months of age (or as recommended by your veterinarian). Seek professional training if behavior issues arise.
   
   
5. Deposits & Refunds: Deposits (up to $400) are non-refundable but may be transferred to another puppy. If you change your choice of puppy after 3 days, there is a $200 change fee (unless your original puppy becomes medically unfit).
   
   
6. Pet Only Policy: All puppies are sold as pets only, not for breeding. You agree to spay or neuter your puppy. Puppies may not always look exactly like the breed standard, even if purebred. Guarantees only apply to puppies sold as “Pet Only.”
   
   
7. Acknowledgment Statements: The customer will review the documents and instructions upon receiving the puppy. The customer understands that puppies under 4 months old need additional vaccinations and must not be taken to public places until fully vaccinated. The customer agrees to the Terms & Conditions and Health Guarantee.
